adjjsjsns okay i feel like i have some stuff to say about the "svt being underrated" thing 😭js wanna put my opinion out there,, but,,,, yeah okay so, when i was starting out as a carat, i don't think i realized how big of a group seventeen are -- and i don't think others realize too,,, people mention seventeen as one of the biggest k-pop groups right now - their albums sales are skyrocketing, with each comeback they just keep getting better, their fanbase gets bigger, their performance rn is,,,, amazing. but when you're in the general kpop fandom, you don't really hear people talking about them (only from carats, really), which is what i don't really understand. i mean - if they're doing so well, where is the recognition from others? so the thing that i believe is --- seventeen mainly get their support from carats. i feel like the fandom is closed off atm --- what i mean by this is that there really aren't any "casual listeners" of svt. sure, there are people who have heard of them, perhaps heard one of their songs, but (i may be wrong) there really isn't an inbetween from "people who don't really know them" and carats -- there js isn't. sure, they haven't gone viral or smth, they've just built up a fandom over quite some time, and being in that fandom feels like you're stanning a nugu group - like there's so much more below the surface of who seventeen actually are - you have a whole discography to uncover, going seventeen, and just lots&lots of stuff that hasn't made its way to other kpop stans -- its just kept in the carat community. they're known for their synchronization -- but not really anything else,,, yk???? like their GOOD good songs haven't made much of a breakthrough yet (they have THE BEST bsides.) i don't think svt are really known for what makes them svt. i hope this makes sense QvQ;;;; im so bad at explaining this n it prob seems like im js yapping but 😭IDK IF I GOT THE MESSAGE ACROSS BUT YEAH
